Justification

I just wanted to clarify why my new brief fits into my theme of socially responsible design. 'The River' is a project which will be an extension of The Deep in Hull. It is not a sea life centre. Its an environmental charity, a scientific institution and a base for global research, as well as being an educational and fun day out. Neither of these attractions are for profit, The Deep has won awards including best employer of the Year and was nominated most sustainable tourist attraction. Because of all these values it means i am using my skills in a socially responsible way. Sociallly responsible design doesnt have to mean work for non-profit organisations, community or charity, it means the purpose of your work contributes to the welfare/happiness/education of the audience, and its sole purpose is not about making money.
